The basic idea behind id Computer Consultants (ICC) is this. When people buy a computer, as soon as they walk out of the store they are fairly much on their own. If there is a problem, the consumer then can contact the outlet that they bought the system from and they may help out. An alternative would be to try to get technical support from the manufacturer of the computer.
Since some places are offering "tech
support" they will not answer questions over the phone. The
consumer then is directed to bring the system back to the place
where they bought it from for additional services. Best Buy employees
are already NOT ALLOWED to offer to help consumers, nor direct
them to other consultants other than their own in house technical
service.
As the price of computers drop, many of the computer manufacturing
companies have cut the technical staff to compensate for their
reduced pricing of merchandise. So the amount of time facing busy
signals and long hold has and will continue to go up. Not to mention
that some of the manufactures are now charging for the phone support
they give you. Average cost of phone bill, and support... over
$40.00 for an hour.
We are directing our business at helping regular people who can not afford a business consultant at $90 to $120 an hour. We would be travelling to homes and businesses to perform the consulting rather than have the computer removed from its current setting, which may sometimes be the source of the problem. We offer a long range of hours where we are available to persons, who work, and persons or companies who work odd shifts and hours by appointment.
ICC also offers a 10% finder's fee for
labour on referred business. At the end of the month ICC will
issue the finders fees to people who recommended ICC services
to someone else. ICC will also make the offer that if the finder
did not want the finders fee, that at the end of the month one
cheque would be written for all the unclaimed finders fees to
a charity. Most likely the charities would be local Red Cross,
Youth for Christ, or local environmental concerns things along
that line. Make sure you tell people to tell us that YOU sent
them to us.
